Gender Lecture Series 2026 - 2027: Gendered Precarities

We are delighted to share the Gender Lecture Series 2026–2027, organised by the Gender Team of the World Trade Institute – Know the Gap!, led by Prof. Elisa Fornalé, in collaboration with the Faculty of Law at the University of Bern.

This year’s series, “Gendered Precarities,” explores how precarity is experienced, produced and contested across different social, political and legal contexts, with gender inequalities at the centre of the discussion.

Kelly is especially pleased to be contributing to the series with a lecture on:

The lecture will explore how human rights law conceptualises and addresses gender-based poverty, and whether existing approaches risk reproducing the inequalities they seek to overcome.
